For our final Reel Talk issue of 2024, I’m beyond grateful to have my dear friend, Rena Dine, an actress whose performance will shatter any notion of what vulnerability and strength truly are. Her most recent work was in Mawtini (My Homeland), where she portrays a Palestinian young woman who joins the fight for her identity and connection to the land through guerrilla gardening.
